US Discovers Two COVID-19 Vaccines
As the Corona virus pandemic records more than 11million infections and over two hundred and fifty thousand deaths in the United States in just one day, two companies, Pfizer and BioNTech said their drugs have achieved 95% success in preventing sickness, including severe cases of the corona virus disease.
Global pharmaceutical company, Pfizer and a German company, BioNTech, had announced that their coronavirus vaccines are more than 95 percent effective in preventing people from getting sick from the virus .
If both vaccines continue to do well in clinical trials, the United States could soon have two coronavirus vaccines available for those most at risk. Both companies plan to submit applications to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the coming weeks to allow emergency use of their vaccines by as early as January, next year.
