All Stars Tennis Club President Assures On Maintenance Of Facilities
Newly elected president of the All Stars Tennis Club Chief Minainyo Igani has promised to turn-around the fortunes of the club for by ensuring that members are united as a family.
Chief Igani stated this in a chat with our sports correspondent at the tennis pavilion in Port Harcourt.
He noted that the face-lift of the tennis courts will afford members the opportunity to grow in the sport, adding that, a conducive environment will be ensured to allow members play and interact harmoniously.
According to him, the importance of exercise or recreation cannot be overemphasized and also noted that he would ensure total discipline and compliance to the constitution, the rules and regulations of the game, and run an open door administration by carrying everybody along.
The president appealed to members who have not been participating in the club activities to have a rethink as the new administration under him is poised to take the club to a new level.
“There is going to be harmonious play of the game as one family while witch-hunting and other forms of indiscipline will be a thing of the past as we join hands to forge ahead in making the club enviable with its aim of recreation achieved”, Igani posited.
He however solicited for total support and thanked all for the confidence reposed on them, promising that to ensure that the motto of the club, “Together in Tennis” is taken to the fore with God on their side.
Other members elected include, Sam-Adoki Nelson – Captain, Ogan Rogers John – Secretary and Jane Lemuel – Finacial Secretary while Henry Jeremiah still retained his position as the Court Manager.
