The English Premier gets more intense and interesting as the weeks unfold. League leaders, Liverpool maintain their unbeaten run as they thrashed Crystal Palace 1-2 at Selhurst Park to move 8 points clear off 2nd placed Leicester City. The Reds host Brighton at Anfield as they look to maintain a scientillating form.

Second place Leicester City beat Brighton 0-2 to continue their good run of form as Leicester hosts troubling Everton at the King Power Stadium this weekend.

Manchester City moved to third defeating Chelsea 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium. City travel to St. James Park to battle Newcastle United.

Chelsea occupy fourth place with 28 points after losing 2-1 to defending champions, Man City. The Blues welcome West Ham United to Stamford Bridge as they look to get back on track.

Arsenal are 8th on the league level on points (18) with Sheffield and Burnley as they forced Southampton to a 2-2 draw at The Emirates Stadium. The Gunners have struggled for consistency with coach Emery in desperate need of positive results to get his team back on track. Arsenal will play Norwich city away.

Manchester United occupy 9th position with 17 points. United were held to a  3-3 draw by resilient Sheffield United and will host Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

New  Tottenham boss, Jose Mourinho started his reign on a high defeating West Ham 2-3. The victory moved them to 10th position on the league table. Spurs will be at home against Bournemouth this weekend.
