Monarch Reaffirms Support For Govt Programmes
The Amanyanabo of Ogu Kingdom, His Majesty, King Nicholas Dickson Ibiebele Nimenibo, Loko IX has lauded State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for presenting of Certificates and Staff of Office to eighty-four (84) government recognized Traditional Rulers in the State.
He has also congratulated the governor for his achievements in 100 dys of a new tenure.
King Ibiebele-Nimenibo, who made the commendation in a chat with our correspondent in his Palace at Ogu in Ogu/Bolo local government area, said the presentation of staff of office during his 100-days in office was unique and would go into the annals of history in the State.
He noted that with the presentations and commissioning of projects was evidence of Visionary Stewardship and enjoined the governor not to relent in his vision to take Rivers State to a new level.
The Ogu monarch thanked the Governor for the honour done the traditional rulers, assuring that they would reciprocate by giving him all necessary support and co-operation for his administration to succeed, and to address insecurity and other social vices in their domains and in the State.
The Amanyanabo of Ogu said he dedicated the award to God first and to the people of Ogu Kingdom, assuring that he would continue to maintain peaceful disposition and unity in the area.
