Father Mbaka Makes U-Turn …Threatens To Protest Against Buhari
Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, a diehard supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, has threatened to lead a public protest if the killings by Fulani herdsmen continue.
Father Mbaka’s who issued the threat during a sermon at his Adoration Ministry ground, said the Fulanis were killing on daily basis, men and women, priests and faithful with the government doing nothing to stop it.
The catholic Priest vowed that if the killings continue, he will lead 100 youths to shut down Aso Rock.
He said people were already tired of Buhari government that could not secure the lives of its citizens.
Father Mbaka radical sermon came on the heels of the killing of a catholic priest, Father Paul in Enugu last week Friday by suspected Faluni herdsmen.
The killing of the Reverend father elicited condemnations from priests all over the country, particularly those from the South-East who had marched to Enugu Government House in protest.
However, the cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria have absolved the Fulani of the murder of the catholic priest, stating that some criminal elements perpetrated the act.
It could be recalled that Father Mbaka did not only pray for Buhari’s success in 2015 election, but supported his emergence as president in 2019.
It does appear the killing by people to be Fulani herdsmen which has continued unabated has prompted his new radical stance.
