Consultant Unveils New Novel In Port Harcourt. Collins Barasimeye

A Consultant and Managing Director of 4 – power consortium Ltd, Engr. Mathew Edevbie has enjoined Nigerians to imbibe creative culture in order to expand their scope of knowledge.

Edevbie who made the call during the launching of a novel, “Kidnapped” authored by Sophilia Obire expressed delight over the book and gave her a pat on the back for a job well done.

He said the title of the novel was timely with the present situation in the country and said it must be read by all for their knowledge of the society.

According to him, he has respect for those who write books and was proud that someone from his family is also a prolific writer.

Also speaking, the Senior Pastor of International House of His Presence. Pastor Tunji Akinola noted with pride the literary content of the book and recommended it for wide readership.

Pastor Akinola thanked God for giving her creative inspiration and enjoined her to keep up the tempo.

In their book reviews, the Head, Corporate Communication of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED), Mr. John Onyi and Mike Alozie lauded Sophilia Obire for achieving a greater height as a prolific writer, who also carried out her activities perfectly, adding that the title of the book is synonymous with the present day realities of the society.

They recommended the book for every household, library, institutions, stressing that it is timely as one could be kidnapped emotionally and financially.

They further commended her for making our time with her busy schedule to write the novel.

In his remarks, the Head, Learning and Development of PHED, Dr. Godwin Orovwiroro described the novel as an award winning book by a leader and also gave kudos to her for the desire and inspiration.

In her vote of thanks, the author, Sophilia Obire thanked all; especially her father for the encouragement sand prayed that they also would be supported in all their endeavours.
