APC Hacked INEC’s IT Server, Secondus Alleges
The Peoples Democratic Chairman, Uche Secondus has alleged that the APC has hacked INEC Information Technology (IT) server and has used it to manipulate results in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Secondus who was addressing journalists in Abuja on the occurrences during the elections alleged that APC manipulated results from some Wards in Nassarawa and Sokoto States.
The Wards according to him are; Sarkin Dawaki and Doka in Doma Local Government Area of Nassarawa state as well as Tofa, saying that in Wurno Local Government Area of Sokoto state, 10,000 illegal votes were added to already announced results.
He named the minister of interior, the secretary to the Government of Federation and Attorney-General and Minister for Justice as those APC used to manipulate results from the North-West, North-East, South-East and South-south.
He alleged that as results were trickling in on Sunday February 23rd, already putting the PDP in the lead, the ruling party and President Buhari dispatched high-ranking officials to different geo-political zones in the country to coercively influence the election outcome.
The PDP Chairman also lamented what he called violent and destructive attack on PDP members across the country.
“As if these provocations are not enough, our agents and officials are constantly arrested and in many cases locked-up for complaining that Card Readers were not in use in many Northern States, implying that all results from the Northern part of the country where Card Readers were not used should be voided in accordance with INEC guidelines”, Secondus lamented.
He said the arrest of Engr. Buba Galadima shows how one man’s ambition was becoming greater than that of the collective good, and called for the immediate and unconditional release of haladima and all officials and agents of the PDP who were mostly arrested on the eve of the elections.
